Marcy and Cory’s celebrated their wedding at Oak Hill Farm in Apple River on a beautiful summer day! This was my first time photographing at this venue and wow!! Truly felt like I was transported to a different time! Oak Hill Farm was established in 1875 with natural farm acres as far as you can see! Right as I was driving the gravel pathway I felt so excited to capture Marcy and Cory’s wedding day just by looking at the rolling meadows.
Their ceremony took place in the stunning white chapel and their reception in the canopy tent. Guests roamed the grounds from the children laughing around the play ground to the adults watching the horses galloping around. It was honestly like a movie!
Where to begin! There were many favorite moments through out this day but one of my favorites was when Marcy and Cory had their first look with their daughters. I loved this because this was a private moment as a family before the celebrations started. You could feel the emotion there, and I loved seeing Marcy’s tears well up at that very moment.
